1999 Islamic Week

For those who don't know, and for those who do know; Islamic Week will be held at Victoria University (Footscray Park Campus)from July 26th - July 30th, 1999. Islamic Week is for both Muslims and Non-Muslims to share and understand the true nature of Islam and its believers. The entire week will include lectures, displays, BBQ's and a special Lecture/Dinner held as the closing ceremony.

For those who have attended every year and for those who may attend for the first time this year; prepare yourselves as the Islamic Society Of VUT have planned a special event. Very different to previous years and much more entertaining in an Islamic nature ofcourse. What makes this night special, is the demonstration of unity by Muslims as Footscray Park and St. Albans unite to present this very special event. The 1999 Anual Islamic Dinner/Lecture will be held on Friday July 30th, 1999. Tickets will be on sale soon. Presented by FAMSY and hosted this year by Monash University (Clayton Campus), it's that time of year when all Universities compete and exchange their Islamic knowledge as well as general knowledge to have the oppotunity to be the host University on the following year.
